About ZenUML

ZenUML is a diagram-as-code product family operated by P&D Vision Pty Ltd, an Australian company. It renders concise, Markdown-inspired text definitions into sequence diagrams and other UML diagrams.

Origins

ZenUML began as a diagramming tool built inside a finance-industry project, and that background shaped an early product decision: rendering had to be trustworthy for regulated environments.
